Cardinal Energy Group Inc. (OTCBB:CEGX): Announces Appointment of ‘Acting’ COO

Dublin, Ohio based Cardinal Energy Group Inc.(OTCBB:CEGX) today on September 27, 2013 announced the appointment of David Rippy as an ‘acting’ Chief Operating Officer on a contract basis.

David Rippy’s Profile

David Rippy has worked for Halliburton Services of Ventura, California as a field engineer and for ARCO Oil & Gas of Bakersfield, California as the production specialist during 1970’s to 1980’s. Later during the late part of 1980’s he joined as drilling, production and work over specialist at Berry Petroleum of Taft, California and during early 1990’s he was with Bestline Liner Systems of Bakersfield, California as the design and sales manager. Finally in the year 1995 David Rippy formed Bakersfield Drilling Consultants, Inc. The company provides Senior Drilling Supervisors to its clients in the Oil and Gas Drilling exploration industry enabling them to have direct contact with Senior Supervisors.

CEO Speak on the Appointment

The Chief Executive Officer of Cardinal Energy Group (OTCBB:CEGX), Timothy Crawford commented that Mr. David Rippy has proficient background in the industry as evident by his accomplishments in increasing oil and gas production and more than 35 years of industry experience. David Rippy has also co-developed some innovative techniques using which he increased the production by more than 100% during his tenure with ARCO and Halliburton.

Timothy Crawford also added that the expertise of Mr. David Rippy would help improve net revenues for Cardinal Energy Group (OTCBB:CEGX) given his aggressive management style and unique skill set which will enable the company to create innovative cost saving solutionswith a focus to work within a specific budget. Adding further he mentioned that the addition of Mr. David Rippy would certainly give the company an edge to keep its assets at the peak production and David is also positive about increasing the output through remediation of the wells.

Currently Mr. David Rippy is with Dan Troendly, the Chief Finance Officer of Cardinal Energy Group (OTCBB:CEGX) to assess the company’s 41 oil wells sprawled across 618 acre field.
